Designed to protect buildings and assets with early detection of breaches in the waterproofing membrane, and the provision of detailed information on any water infiltration in order to facilitate quick and effective repairs, the patented AquaTrace technology will now be sold exclusively with Kingspan's proven flat roof insulation board systems. This powerful partnership will provide customers with an intelligent insulation solution that offers a thermally efficient roof combined with real-time cloud-based waterproofing monitoring, available directly on mobile devices or integrated into an existing BMS platform. The system works by detecting waterproofing failure through a grid placed under roof insulation. Once a breach is detected, a signal is sent through the AquaHub firmware placed onto the building, from there into the cloud and the OneDrop software platform and back into the client's own customised data portal anywhere in the world, alerting them in real time.
